સ્ત્રીઓ પોતાનો બ્લેક એન્ડ વ્હાઇટ ફોટો સોશિયલ મીડિયામાં પોસ્ટ કરી રહી છે. પણ કેમ? જાણો આ #challenge accepted કેવી રીતે શરૂ થયું?

છેલ્લા કેટલાક દિવસોથી સેલિબ્રિટીઝ સહિતની મહિલાઓ, મહિલા સશક્તિકરણની  નિશાની  તરીકે ઇન્સ્ટાગ્રામ અને અન્ય સોશિયલ મીડિયા પ્લેટફોર્મ પર પોતાના બ્લેક એન્ડ વ્હાઇટ ફોટો પોસ્ટ કરી રહ્યા છે. આ ફોટો સાથે #chalenlengeaccepted કેપ્શન પણ મૂકી રહ્યા છે જે “women supporting women” કેમ્પઇનનો એક ભાગ છે.

આ અભિયાન શું છે?

અત્યાર સુધીમાં “challenge accepted” હેશટેગ હેઠળ ઇન્સ્ટાગ્રામ પર 6,320,293થી વધુ  ફોટો પોસ્ટ થયા છે. આ કેમ્પઇનના  ભાગ રૂપે મહિલાઓએ પોતાનો બ્લેક એન્ડ વ્હાઇટ ફોટોગ્રાફ પોસ્ટ કરવો પડે છે  અને  અન્ય મહિલાઓને પણ આવું કરવા માટે  નોમિનેટ કરવી પડે છે .

અમેરિકન ફિલ્મ નિર્દેશક એવા ડુવરને સહિતની હસ્તીઓએ આ ચેલેન્જ સ્વીકાર્યો હતો. ડુવરનેએ ઇન્સ્ટાગ્રામ પર પોતાનો બ્લેક એન્ડ વ્હાઇટ ફોટો પોસ્ટ કર્યો હતો જેમાં કેપ્શનમાં લખ્યું હતું કે ”Pretty sure this is a just a cool excuse to post pix, but I’m gonna always roll with whatever @janineshermanbarrios and @thevioletnelson ask me to do no matter what – so here goes! Challenge accepted. #womensupportingwomen….”.

મોડેલ સિન્ડી ક્રોફોર્ડેએ પણ સોમવારે ચેલેન્જના  ભાગ રૂપે એક ફોટો પોસ્ટ કર્યો હતો જેનું કેપ્શન આ પ્રમાણે હતું  “Love this simple way to lift each other up. #challengeaccepted. Thank you for nominating me @vanessabryant”.

It takes a lot more effort, strength, perseverance, wisdom, knowledge, patience & grit for us to navigate life as the world has always been skewed against us. No one knows this better than us.  ભારતમાથી  અભિનેત્રી અનુષ્કા શર્મા અને રાજકીય નેતા પ્રિયંકા ગાંધી વાડ્રાએ પણ આ ચેલેન્જમાં ભાગ લીધો હતો. પ્રિયંકા વાડ્રાએ બુધવારે સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર પોતાની પુત્રી અને માતા સાથે પોતાનો એક ફોટોગ્રાફ પોસ્ટ કર્યો હતો, જેમાં કેપ્શન  લખ્યું હતું કે, “Nothing can be braver, nothing can be stronger, nothing more fun than#womensupportingwomen”.

 કેવી રીતે શરૂ થયું આ કેમ્પઇન?

ધ ન્યૂયોર્ક ટાઇમ્સના અહેવાલ મુજબ આ ચેલેન્જ સાથે સંકળાયેલો સૌથી પહેલો  ફોટોગ્રાફ બે  અઠવાડિયા પહેલાં બ્રાઝિલના પત્રકાર એના પૌલા પાડ્રોએ  પોસ્ટ કર્યો હતો. જેમ જેમ વધુ મહિલાઓએ આ પ્રકારના  ફોટા પોસ્ટ કરવાનું શરૂ કર્યું તેમ તેમ આ ચેલેન્જએ ગતિ પકડી અને આ ચેલેન્જ  ટ્રેન્ડમાં આવી ગયા. પછી તો જેનિફર ગાર્નર, ઈવા લોંગોરિયા અને ક્રિસ્ટેન બેલ જેવા હસ્તીઓ પણ આ ચેલેન્જમાં જોડાયા જેથી આ ટ્રેન્ડે જોર પકડ્યું.

બીજી તરફ એક  દાવો એવો પણ એવો છે   કે  આ ચેલેન્જની શરૂઆત તુર્કીમાં  થઈ હતી જ્યાં આ અભિયાન દેશમાં સ્ત્રી-હત્યા વિશે જાગૃતિ લાવવા સાથે સંકળાયેલું છે. એક ઇન્સ્ટાગ્રામ યુજર્સએ ચેલેન્જ  પોસ્ટ કરતાં લખ્યું હતું કે “It wasn’t until today that someone explained to me the origin of #challengeaccepted. That women in Turkey are getting frustrated overseeing b&w photos of murdered women in the media almost every day, and by posting b&w photos of themselves, it makes the point that any one of us could be next…”.

કેટલીક એવી પણ અટકળો છે કે એલેક્ઝાન્ડ્રિયા ઓકાસિઓ-કોર્ટેઝએ  તાજેતરમાં હાઉસ ઑફ રિપ્રેઝન્ટેટિવ્સમાં ભાષણ  રજૂ કર્યું હતું. તેમાં તેણે તેના વિરુદ્ધ લૈંગિકવાદી ટિપ્પણી કરવા બદલ પ્રતિનિધિ ટેડ યોહોને  હાકલ કરી હતી. ત્યારે  એ પણ એક કારણ હોય શકે કે  જેના કારણે સ્ત્રી સશક્તિકરણ પર ભાર મુક્તિ પોસ્ટનો સોશિયલ મીડિયામાં વધારો થયો હોય.

જો કે આ કેમ્પઇનની ઝાટકણી કાઢતા ઘણા લોકોએ કહ્યું કે આ કેમ્પઇનને લોકો કારણ વગર સમર્થન આપી રહ્યા છે .  તુર્કીના વપરાશકર્તાઓએ કહ્યું કે લોકો અર્થ જાણ્યા વિના ચેલેન્જમાં ભાગ લઈ રહ્યા છે જેના કારણે ઘણા લોકો આ ચેલેન્જનો ખોટો અર્થ લઈ રહ્યા છે.

અન્ય એવા પણ લોકો છે  જેમણે વંશીય અન્યાયને સમાવિષ્ટ કરીને ચેલેન્જને જુદી રીતે શરૂ કર્યો છે. દાખલા તરીકે હોલીવુડ અભિનેત્રી સુસાન સારાન્ડને આફ્રિકન અમેરિકન બ્રોના ટેલર વિશે જાગૃતિ લાવવા ચેલેન્જમાં ભાગ લીધો હતો. બ્રોના ટેલરને  આ વર્ષે માર્ચમાં લુઇસવિલે મેટ્રો વિભાગના પોલીસ અધિકારીઓએ ઠાર માર્યો હતો.
